Chainmail Dress- half done

Beginning of a chainmail dress. Supposed to have a sundress kind of feel. The back is nowhere near complete and the whole thing needs another 8 inches or so of length.

17 and 18 ga aluminum rings, some 20ga steel for reinforcement here and there. Top part 6-in-1, skirt part 4-in-1.

This project's been in the works a long time, I hope I finish it this year. It's not that it's very complicated, but it's tedious and I'm not entirely sure how to make it work the way I want it to- I've never made something like this before.

One problem I'm having is the dress's tendency to pull down in the front and pull up in the back. It's hurting the shape of the dress. Anyway, part of this is will be fixed as I finish up the back and even out the weight.
